Battersea Dogs & Cats Home

Perhaps one of the most famous animal rescue centres. Battersea Dogs & Cats Home was established in 1860, and has been at its current site in Battersea since 1871. They care for over 7,000 cats and dogs each year, and are determined to help every dog and cat that arrives at their gates. You can visit the Home for a small admission fee (currently £2 for adults), and who knows, you might even fall in love!

Battersea Park

Battersea Park is a Victorian park, featuring a boating lake, children’s zoo, all-weather outdoor sports facilities, and the Pump House Gallery housed in a Grade I listed Victorian tower. It’s also home to the beautiful Peace Pagoda, looked after daily by a Buddhist monk. A lovely place to go for a walk through the park or along the Thames.

Go Ape Battersea Park

Go Ape’s most central high-ropes experience in London is also its tallest – twice the height of most Go Ape locations! Swing, climb and zipwire your way through the treetops of Battersea Park, and enjoy the unique view.
