Megan’s at the Power Station

A West London staple, Megan’s is the place to go for a delicious and sophisticated brunch. Their new location at Battersea Power Station has the same gorgeous floral decor and mouth-watering menu. Megan’s Shakshouka is legendary, or if you’ve got a sweet tooth, you must try the half-baked Nutella cookie dough!

They also offer bottomless brunch for just £19 per person – 90 minutes of unlimited Pimm’s, Prosecco or Bloody Megan’s between 2pm and 6pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays!

The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club Battersea Rise was the first branch of the popular mini-chain to open south of the river. Its interior is quirky and bright, taking inspiration from a 50s kitsch kitchen and an 80s laundrette, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced.

They serve breakfast til midday, and all-day brunch and main meals for the rest of the afternoon. Personal favourites include the massive stacks of pancakes, and the Mexican eggs with jackfruit… though you can also get your Full English and avocado on rye fix too.

Jack’s at the Junction

Famous in the Battersea/Clapham area for an excellent, cheap hangover cure. They do great classic fry-ups, which you can order as a single, double or triple (have one, two or three of everything!) plus a veggie alternative that doesn’t skimp out. You can also build your own breakfast by paying per ingredient, or tuck into an Eggs Benedict or Florentine if you’re feeling a bit fancy.

Great for an honest, straight up breakfast!

The Coffeeworks Project

Nestled literally right next to Battersea Power Station, The Coffeeworks Project is part of the new Circus West Village development of bars and restaurants serving the Power Station’s new community. Menu highlights include Eggs Benedict with Salmon Pastrami, Fried Chicken Crumpets, and a Vegan Bowl with tofu scramble.

Their coffee is also really good quality, smooth and strong, and they have a range of delicious cakes and pastries.

Flour to the People

Flour to the People is a cafe/bakery and pizzeria, offering a delicious homemade brunch menu until 3pm every day. They try to make as much from scratch as they can for the ultimate brunch experience, from the bread, jam, crumpets and butter to the baked beans.

There’s a great atmosphere in the cafe, partly down to the music selection. The playlists are proudly curated by the owner, Adam, who knows the importance of an excellent coffee shop soundtrack.

Not really feeling a standard British brunch? Try BabaBoom on Battersea Rise. This gourmet kebab restaurant serves a mouth-watering brunch menu on weekends, including breakfast kebabs with date-glazed bacon and Za’atar tomato or a veggie option with fried halloumi, and a delicious barbary and tahini granola.

Okay, this place won’t get you any points on Instagram, but it will definitely fill your stomach. It’s a classic greasy spoon, with an extensive cafe menu, friendly staff, and some great sausage and egg butties.
