A cat, dog, or other furry friend is part of the family. It can be hard, though, to find rental properties that allow pets.
Whether you’ve already got a pet you want to bring with you, or you’re settled in a flat and looking to adopt one, it’s always worth just asking your landlord straight up. It’s futile to try and hide your pet from them – the truth usually comes out in the end and it could count as contract breach if it explicitly states pets aren’t allowed.
