Our version of the famous board also tells you what percentage of a Londoner\u2019s average monthly salary you would need to rent in each location, with some scary numbers emerging!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Whereas the most \u2018affordable\u2019 Monopoly street to rent\u00a0<\/span>in<\/span>\u00a0would be Pentonville Road, with rooms available on average for \u00a3772 a month, the story is a very different one when you start looking up the Board. Living in Mayfair for\u00a0<\/span>instance,<\/span>\u00a0would set you back your entire monthly salary if you were on an average wage in London, \u00a334,473 per annum according to the ONS.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Some of London\u2019s most popular areas are now completely out of range for people even on average earnings, with a room to rent in Piccadilly setting you back 91% of your wage and a space on Oxford Street \u00a32,360 per month.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
