Are there sufficient safeguard measures in place, e.g. sturdy locks or perhaps an alarm system?<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li6\"><span style=\"font-family: Poppins\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Make sure of fire alarms and, if the property uses gas, that there\u2019s a CO2 detector installed.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"font-family: Poppins\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">If you want to, you can ask after the viewing to see a copy of the property certificates, which include the energy performance certificate (EPC) and gas and electrical safety certificates. That way you can rest assured that you\u2019re not paying more in utility bills than you need <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">to,<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"> since the better rating the EPC gives the property, the lower your bills are likely to be.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><b><span style=\"font-family: Poppins\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">3. Weaselling your way into a tight-knit group of friends can be a daunting idea, but they might be very inclusive.
