5. Temple of Seitan, Camden & Hackney<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since cutting meat from my diet, one of the guilty pleasures I\u2019ve missed the most is fried chicken. Thanks to Temple of Seitan, though, that\u2019s no longer the case. Their menu of crispy fried Chick\u2019n, quarter-pound burgers and chipotle-salted fries ticks all the boxes for delicious, 100% vegan junk food. Their prices are reasonable and their serving sizes generous – the perfect way to satisfy those crispy chicken cravings after going vegan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though more of a vegetarian restaurant, Rasa N16 has a great range of vegan options on its South Indian menu. The restaurant\u2019s founder is from a small village in Kerala, India, and draws inspiration from the social aspect of food and the potential to create delicious meals from fresh vegetables. He strives to bring the most authentic South Indian cuisine to Britain, and has curated an extensive menu with mouth-watering flavours. 3. The Spread Eagle, Homerton<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since most alcoholic drinks are made with the use of animal products in the filtration process, it can be tricky to find a vegan pint in an ordinary pub. At The Spread Eagle, London\u2019s first 100% vegan pub, you\u2019re spoilt for choice by the range of cask ales, draft beers, small batch wines and interesting cocktails. The pub is traditional, cosy and beautifully decorated, with even the fixtures and fittings being sustainably sourced. At the weekends they have DJs playing until 2am, and you can grab some vegan Mexican street food in-house at Club Mexicana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Tell Your Friends, Fulham<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tell Your Friends is perhaps one of the most Instagrammable vegan restaurants in London. The decor is charming –\u00a0bare wood and brushed metal complemented by neon lighting and lots of plants, plus the food and cocktails are beautifully presented. Their menu has something for everyone, from favourites such as hotdogs with BBQ jackfruit and salad bowls, to \u2018fish\u2019 pie, sweet potato curry and a range of indulgent desserts. Most exciting is Tell Your Friends\u2019 brunch menu, complete with scrambled \u2018eggs\u2019 on toast, a full English breakfast and a \u2018Hangover Muffin\u2019 with sausage, hash browns, slaw, cheese and BBQ sauce. All of the drinks at the bar are also 100% vegan, from ethical and environmentally-friendly brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fine-dining Farmacy is known for its seasonal plant-based food in a trendy restaurant in Notting Hill. They source their ingredients either from their own farm in Kent or from local, environmentally conscious suppliers. All of their food is free from dairy, refined sugars, additives and chemicals. Serving weekday breakfast and lunch, weekend brunch, and dinner throughout the week, their menu is extensive, healthy and well-considered.
