We\u2019d be fairly surprised if you hadn\u2019t heard of \u2018Little Venice\u2019, but there\u2019s more to the area than just that. Maida Vale is a residential neighbourhood with plenty of character. Aside from the quaint (and oh so beautiful), Little Venice, with it\u2019s houseboats and gondolas drifting, Maida Vale\u2019s streets are lined with trees (and gorgeous houses) and has a whole host of bars and cafes to explore. A peaceful and tranquil place when the busy city life catches up with you. And whilst it may bring plenty of tourists for a wander down the canal, this central yet understated area is everything you need in a place – classy but fun, and just a truly charmful place to live.<\/p>\n

Coffee<\/h2>\n

Cute and Instagrammable, The Peppermint<\/a> is a quiet space that has a contemporary feel. The coffee is good, the tea selection is great and there\u2019s also plenty of light bites to tickle your fancy. It\u2019s basically where you\u2019ll always want to go for a quick catch up.
\nAlso try, The Elgin<\/a> as it\u2019s like your second front room. And very very nice.<\/p>\n

Brunch<\/h2>\n

Fresh and incredible tasty treats, is what you\u2019re greeted with as you step inside Baker and Spice<\/a>. With all their produce locally sourced, or freshly baked, it\u2019s hard to miss the aroma of their delicious croissants and pastries on offer. They also serve an all day brunch, so if eggs or French Toast are more your thing, then they\u2019ve certainly got you covered. And whilst you\u2019re there, make sure to pick up some bread for home!
\nAlso try The Summerhouse<\/a>, because they\u2019re some seriously good Bloody Mary\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Dinner<\/h2>\n

Authentic Thai Cuisine is what Thai Rice<\/a> do so well. They pride themselves on their fast and friendly service, and we wouldn\u2019t want to disagree. The dishes are delicious (and great looking), and with a menu as extensive as there\u2019s, you\u2019ll find something for everyone (even the vegetarian!). Thai Rice is a casual restaurant, but it sure will comfort you in every way possible.
\nAlso try Le Cochonnet<\/a>, for some lively Mediterranean vibes!<\/p>\n

Pub<\/h2>\n

Everyone is always looking for that perfect Sunday roast spot, and we may have just found it in the form of The Bridge House.<\/a> It\u2019s a theatrical pub, with a comforting menu (looking at you brunch), and has all of the character and charm you want in a good old boozer. So once you\u2019ve taken a walk along the waterway, settle yourself in for an afternoon of delight. Also, a flower-clad beer garden is a winner in summer and a roaring open fire to keep you cosy in winter. What more do you need?
\nAlso try The Union Tavern<\/a> for scenic views of the canal.<\/p>\n

Bringing you the best of the British Isles, you\u2019ll find lots of the good stuff to drink – we\u2019re talking Beers from all over the world and a wide range of old and new wines. They also serve some top quality food, fitting for the seasons. And you know what? It\u2019s just a darn nice space.
\nAlso try the LV Lounge<\/a>, because there are some cocktails not to be missed.<\/p>\n

Walk<\/h2>\n

With the name of Little Venice, you\u2019ll find your walks are taken down the canal spotting the houseboats and gondolas. It\u2019s a truly stunning backdrop, and offers such peace and tranquility in such a vibrant city. You\u2019ll find yourself stopping for a drink or two, in this beautiful area with a variety of places, and almost for a moment, not even mind that it\u2019s such a tourist spot.<\/p>\n
