I am looking to rent in or near Milton Keynes due to having a job there. The main thing I’m looking for in any arrangement is being clear about expectations from the beginning. I had a bad experience in my partner’s ex house share last year due to lack of clarity in house rules from the very onset, which caused a lot of discord especially due to how they handled the matter. The main rule that caused discord was use of own stuff (in the respect of not being clear about what exactly it covered). The bottom line is I’d appreciate house rules to be discussed properly in black and white from the onset.
