Hey future Roomie Our names are Sophie and Vicky we are two professional women looking for a 3rd person to join our lovely house share as sadly our current housemate is moving on. The House: We live in Alexandra Palace/ Wood Green (Right next to Alexandra Palace park and station) on a beautiful quiet leafy street. The house is set over 3 stories, in perfect condition, all the bedrooms are big and bright. We have a lovely lounge, two high spec bathrooms, big kitchen with all the mod cons, large garden with a bike shed. We also have a lovely little spare room for when family visits. The room for rent: We are currently looking for our 3rd lady or gent to take the bedroom on the 1st floor. the room is very large (largest in the house?), has a lovely fireplace feature, and lots of natural light from the big bay windows. Currently there is a bed in there but if you prefer your own we are easy. Our living style... We live in a proper grown up house share that operates like a family home of sorts. That means we are super respectful to each other, we share all the bills and food in our house - this is not a house share where people have their own food shelves in cupboards and fridges, we like to cook and eat together when possible (Don’t worry if you personally are not great at cooking, the two of us are pretty good and enjoy it). Also as everyone has different schedules there are always yummy left overs and delicious treats to snack on in the fridge Although we are social people we are also sensitive to when people want their own space – we feel this is important when you are adults in your 30’s living in a house share. We aren't party people, we work hard and have busy jobs so we like our home to be a calm, sanctuary. We love hosting dinner parties, celebrating the holidays, and summer BBQ’s We have our wonderful cleaner Angie who comes once a week who has cleaned for us for years and on the days she’s not there we pitch in to keep the place looking nice. A bit about us... Sophie is 36 years old and runs her own creative performance company. She works abroad a lot as a performer but when in London she also works from home in the daytime. Sophie enjoys cooking, Yoga and a friendly chat over a good coffee. Vicky is 32 and works as a safety inspector for student housing. She also coaches women’s rugby in her spare time. She sometimes will work from home but mainly keeps regular 9-5 hours. Vicky enjoys going to live shows and gigs, Rugby, and a good kitchen chat over dinner. What qualities we would like in a house-mate: Ideally someone in their 30’s and up who has lived in house shares in the past. Team player – pitches in with all the normal runnings of a happy household and enjoys being part of a communal space.
