New homepage ➡️ +42% searches! What next?

Today is a great day: It’s the weekend, there’s sunshine, and Ideal Flatmate has a new homepage!

The photo above shows Andy, our UX designer in action creating the new homepage. Simple changes can sometimes achieve great results, and we’ve noticed a 42% increase in property searches, as you can see on the graph in Tom’s post on Linkedin.

The user journey is much more straightforward, which improves the general user experience. This change also had a very positive impact on the number of enquiries made. This means we are getting much better at helping you rent your rooms & find flatmates!

Rob is the second half of the founding partnership at Ideal Flatmate and has driven forward it's growth from a conversation in Jamie's Italian in summer 2015 to the fastest growing flatsharing platform in the UK. He leads on user engagement and experience, as well as product delivery and building partnerships. He worked in sales before founding Ideal Flatmate and before that as a research analyst. He has an (also largely irrelevant) degree in Philosophy from UCL.
