Let’s Buddy Up

There are so many reasons why people flatshare; cheaper rent, having moved to a new area and wanting to make new friends, maybe they’ve just been dumped and need somewhere new to live. Or maybe just because, people actually like living with other people.

Whatever someone’s reasoning for flatsharing, you can bet it takes an awful lot of scrolling to find that right room (it’s a good job we’re a nation of scrollers). But what happens when you come across that perfect place that you so want to call home, that just so happens to be a 3 bedroom flat, and all your friends are either coupled up or happily settled in their bay-fronted window room?

Well, Ideal Flatmate have that covered (obviously).

Having recently launched our exciting new Co-Living portal, which is designed to bringing our flathunters the best new properties from the build to rent sector, we’ve introduced the Buddy Up feature. The Buddy Up feature ensures that flathunters don’t miss out on moving into those dreamy places that they’ve had their eye on, especially in the Co Living spaces.

So with the help of our unique matching quiz, you’ll also be able to see other flathunters who have shown interest in the same property as you.

It’s then as simple as reaching out directly to them. You know, dropping them a message, sliding into their Ideal Flatmate’s DM’s. And networking.

And if you’re all interested in that 3 bedroom apartment, then chances are, you have things in common. So plan to meet, mingle over a beer, arrange a viewing – and then all that’s left to decide on in life, is who’s on bin duty for the first week that you all move in…
