Our London: The Instagram Edition

There’s so much to do in London, that sometimes we just don’t know where to begin.

Luckily with the help of some friends, particularly, our Instagram friends, we asked them where their favourite place to eat, drink and potter around London is…

I love London… because there is always something new to discover.
The best hidden secret in London... St Dunstan’s In The East. Not many people know of or have ever visited the beautiful church ruins and gardens nestled amongst the City of London.
You’ll find me brunching… during the week, away from the crowds at Sunday in Barnsbury!
The most photogenic place is… definitely Notting Hill. There’s just something about the houses there that you can’t find anywhere else!
If I was the mayor of London… I would make public transport more affordable for everyone!

Pretty sure I dreamt last night that every day was a brunch day 😍😂 Imagine how amazing that'd be! Think @brothermarcus_ would have to be up there with the go-to spots – This Brother Special (Beetroot cured salmon, scrambled eggs with honey & asparagus on toast) was SO GOOD! THAT salmon & THOSE eggs. Definitely stuff dreams are made of 😉 . . . . . . #londonfood #londoneats #lefooding #makeitdelicious #onthetableproject #foodgawker #londonbrunch #eatwelllivewell #healthyeats #feedyoursoull #thedailybite #noleftovers #myfab5 #thefeedfeed #timeoutlondon #dailyfoodfeed #healthyfoodshare #eattheworld #heresmyfood #ongooglemaps #foodiehub #brunch #eggs #TOTastemaker #toplondonrestaurants #topcitybites #thehappynow #london #breakfast #wednesdayvibes

I love London… because there’s always something going on and more to explore. It’s also brought me my bestest of friends.

My favourite place to eat is… well, for breakfast or brunch it has to be Dishoom, because HELLO Bacon and egg naan! (Those masala beans are amazing too.) Dinner is a tough one as it depends on my mood, but Hawksmoor is always up there, solely for that mac and cheese on the side. I also love Megan’s Restaurant in Fulham. They do the dreamiest open top kebabs.

I love a drink in… Mr. Foggs – any of the locations but the Society of Exploration is my fave. In December though, it’s all about a Mulled Wine at one of the Christmas Markets, or Winter Wonderland.

My friend is visiting for the day, so I plan… brunch, probably at Half Cup because everything is super cute, followed by a wander round Borough Market, and finally dinner and drinks at Street Feast, because there’s something to satisfy all manner of cravings! Maybe even a tipsy 9 holes at JunkYard Golf thrown in somewhere too.

Best London area is… Angel/Kings Cross. I would love to live in Islington – for the canal walks, street food and granary square within walking distance and the cute independents on upper street.

I love London… because it’s my hometown and arguably one of the best cities in the world. You’ll never get bored living in London as there’s always something new to see, do, and most importantly, eat!

You’ll find me brunching… at Arancini Bros. in Kentish Town. Their vegan risotto balls are oh-so-good!

The last gig I went to… was Parcels at The Roundhouse in Camden.

I love a drink in… The Hawley Arms in Camden or the Mossy Well in Muswell Hill (it’s the fanciest Wetherspoons I’ve ever seen!)

The best hidden secret in London is… Highgate. If you ever want to escape the bustle of the city but not wander too far then Highgate has that quaint village community vibe with historic pubs, little independent cafes, cute little stores and lots of greenery. And, if you’re eagle-eyed, you might spot a celebrity or two!
