Our London: The Instagram Edition

There’s so much to do in London, that sometimes we just don’t know where to begin.

Luckily with the help of some friends, particularly, our Instagram friends, we asked them where their favourite place to eat, drink and potter around London is…

I love London… because it has something for everyone, ALL the time!

My favourite place to eat… is Sambal Shiok, Malaysian food has come to London and the best laksa available is down the road from me!

You’ll find me drinking in… cocktail bars across the city, Bar Three in Shoreditch is my latest favourite

The best hidden secret in London… ironically is that it’s a great base for day trips! Get out and explore the rest of the UK?!

If I was the mayor of London… I’d enforce a 4 day week. It’s the future people, IT’S THE FUTURE

I love London… because there is so much to do, there is always something exciting going on, every area has its own unique personality and there always something new to discover. Also its a great destination to travel to anywhere in the world from.

The best hidden secret in London.. well there are so many, I love all the different hotels and when I have some time to relax I enjoy going for a cup of tea in there foyers to watch the world go by but if I have to choose 1,for me it has got to be the many beautiful mews around London with their cobbled streets & pretty colourful houses but honestly there are so many its really hard to pick.

My favourite place to eat… is probably Rake’s cafe & bar next to Liverpool street station, the atmosphere, decor and the team there and I cannot recommend the cauliflower wings highly enough!! It’s worth going just for them.

I love a drink… I guess moving to London has really rubbed off on me because since moving here I have really started to enjoy a Gin & Tonic but as far as a drinking destination goes I have recently discovered the new martini lounge Anthracite which is part of the Great Northern Hotel in Kings cross

My friend is visiting for the day, so I plan… to take them to see Tower Bridge because everyday when I see it I’m reminded how lucky I am to live in such an amazing city. After that I would either take them to one of the most instagrammable cafes or for a beautiful afternoon tea somewhere. If it’s a lovely day, we will walk off all the cakes by exploring all the boutique shops and mews ( yes I really love the mews ) in Notting Hill/ Primrose Hill/ Chelsea& Kensington. If the weather is bad then you would find us in the V&A or Saatchi gallery.

I love London… for its beautiful architecture

The most photogenic place… is Primrose Hill

You’ll find me brunching… at Dishoom! Because their Bacon and Egg Naan’s are delicious (that’s if we can get in…)

My favourite place to drink… is a Soho pub, stood outside in the summer, soaking in the atmosphere of London.

Best London area… is North – Hampstead, Highgate, Kentish Town… But I’m biased!
