Hiya :) We have a bright double room available for rent from early July. We try our best to make our house a cosy and welcoming home rather than just a house. Public Transport: <1min walk to bus stop (many directions) 8-9 min walk/5min cycle ride to Upton Park (District/ Hammersmith&City Line) 5-10min cycle ride/10min bus ride to Canning Town (DLR/Jubilee Line) 10 min bike ride/15 min bus ride to Stratford Local Amenities: Small park right in front of the house, 5 min walk to “Greenway” (Jog/cycle/skate/walk from Beckton to Stratford) <1min walk to local off-licence shop 5min walk to Tesco/Gym/Boots/KFC/Subway/Pub and tons of other shops, restaurants, etc. 10 min walk to local market Of course, we have WiFi :) We also have a laundry machine and space to dry your clothes in the garden. We have two bathrooms that are each used by 3 people (including you) – one is upstairs, one is downstairs. Our kitchen is very large and includes a comfortable sitting area. We have plenty of fridge and kitchen cupboard space for everyone. We have every kitchen utensil you can think of - and more! Rice cookers, mixer, blender, ice cream machine, cocktail shaker, you name it, we (probably) have it. The garden is quite small but large enough to have a barbecue in summer. We have lots of raspberries, some strawberries, and currants as well as lots of spices (Basil, Thyme, Oregano, Chives, Coriander, Parsley,…) in the garden – and lots of flowers that will bloom soon. You can sit down here and read a book, have a cup of coffee or your dinner if you want to. Both the kitchen and the garden are places where you will sometimes meet your flatmates – but as all of us have very dissimilar schedules both are very quiet most of the times. All people in the house are very friendly and will often offer you a cup of coffee or some freshly cooked beef curry. I'm vegetarian, some of us avoid porc. Of course, you, however, can cook and eat whatever you want :) Live and let live. We believe cleanliness and mutual respect are very crucial elements for happy shared living and we are looking for someone who shares these values. We expect people to clean up after themselves without being asked to do so.
