Hi, future housemate/s :)
I'm looking to relocate to North London to move closer to work in Newington Green. I currently live in lovely, leafy Beckenham and have been in my flat for over 4 years. I'll be a bit sad to leave here as I've really made it home and I also recognise that I won't be able to afford as much space in North London (really big rooms, and lots of garden). That said, I'm quite excited about the change and a shorter commute! I work as a manager in a restaurant which I love, having recently, and quite by accident, come back to hospitality after spending the past 10ish years self-employed and studying.
Outside of work, writing is a passion, as is music learning and anything creative.
I have two cats so need to move with a somewhere with a garden and not too close to any main roads etc, as they have been used to a suburban lifestyle and I don't think they would adapt to kindly to too much concreate (neither would I, in fact). I have fully furnished my current two-bedroom place so would be looking for somewhere unfurnished, which could also suit someone who has no furniture as you'd be welcome to furnish your room with what I currently have in my spare room (bed, small wardrobe, desk and chest of draws. Happy to send pics).
I'd like to live with someone more mature, so probably 30+. Profession, sex, orientation etc are not important to me. What is important is that you are looking for something long-term, and want to make it a home, and obviously that we get on.
I am a smoker, but only smoke outside, and wouldn't really like to live with people that do smoke in the house. Also, I think I'd like to live with no more than 2 other people and would prefer not a couple.
I'm not in a huge rush to move, I'd rather take it slow and find the right place and person/people.
Ok, I think that's kind of it, in a nutshell. Obviously, message me if you have any questions.
Looking forward to chatting and meeting you.
